Overall, all the companies welcomed us with open arms and led us to the discussion halls, meeting rooms and so on for the various briefing sessions. The speakers from each company gave a heap full of useful information and knowledge about their individual companies. After which, the floor was open to students to ask questions. Some light refreshments were given by a few of the companies to fill the student’s hungry tummies. Throughout this series, many students were required to fill in M100 surveys conducted by GTI Media. We presented each individual companies with a basket of fruits as token of appreciation after the survey was done.

The staffs in-charge gave us a tour around each office where we could examine the surroundings and see other staffs members doing their work. Participants were amazed about the atmosphere and the surroundings of the companies where they took a lot of pictures and some even asked questions along the way. Time was a big constraint to us, therefore some tours had to be cut short. With that, we ended our IV Series 2013.

In a nutshell, the objective of this series was to acknowledge Sunway students about the business world and provide them with the opportunity to gain insight knowledge of the various companies, at the same time creating awareness about SCSC club. Majority of the participants gave many positive feedbacks and the negative feedbacks will be reference to improve our next industrial visit series. To all the companies that we visited, SCSC club would like to once again say thank you for this delightful and yet knowledgeable event and we hope that we will have the opportunity to visit again in the future.
