On 31st March 2017 (Friday), Sunway CPA Australia Student Charter (SCSC) had organized an industrial visit to Averis. Averis is an outsourcing company. It provides a variety of outsource services such as Financial and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology as well as Shipping Documentation services. We departed from Sunway University at around 8.15am. The journey took about 45 minutes to reach the destination which is located at Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur.
When we arrived Averis, we were welcomed by the human resource manager. Then we were brought to a meeting room located at 6th floor. One of the senior staffs, Mr Lim who has worked for Averies over 10 years shared the background of the company and his working experience to all of us.
The company had prepared some refreshment for us. Participants get to talk to each other during the refreshment time. After that, we were brought back to the meeting room. We were told about the employee’s benefits and internship opportunity in their company as well as how to apply for it.
A group photo was taken at the end of the visit. We finished the industrial visit at 12:30pm. All in all, industry visit to Averis was successful and we would like to thank Averis for sharing their professional knowledge to us.
