During the talk, Miss Kuan explained the objectives and roles of CPA Australia and the steps needed to be taken to become a CPA passport member. From the information given by Miss Kuan, there will be exemption for Victoria University’s accounting students. However, it depends on the subjects the students are undertaking. Information regarding CPA programme and CPA passport membership was clearly explained during the briefing which enhances their interest in CPA professional qualifications. Besides that, she also introduced some of the successful CPA member around the world like Melisssa Claassen, who is currently the CFO of Adidas Group for Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The talk ended with a sharing session with some SCSC members sharing their experience in the club. This is to promote the club and attract new members. The members who were representing our club were Crsytal, Michael and Jef. Generally, some of their priceless experience during their university life were from their participation in SCSC. Praises from them truly boosted the confidence of the members.

Sharing Session
The event ended on time. Members managed to recruit 12 new members for CPA passport membership by giving out application forms to fill. Participants are welcomed to clarify their doubts by consulting Miss Kuan after the talk due to the time constraints during Q&A session.

As SCSC members, we continued our tradition with a photo session in Audi 7 with Miss Kuan to celebrate the success of this event. It will be kept as a part of our memory with SCSC.

As the saying goes, together we stand, divided we fall. This event could not have succeeded without the cooperation from all members.
