H – Happiness (Members will get to experience the happiness of staying together in SCSC)
E – Effective (Members will learn how to use limited resources but provide the best outcome)
R – Respect (Members will get to learn how to respect each other’s idea and background)
Along with all these criteria, overall, the main objective is to bring all the SCSC members together.
There were 33 of SCSC members who have joined in this teambuilding. This 3 days 2 nights event started from the gathering and briefing at VUMBA room at 8am. After that, the ice breaking started at 9am. Throughout the whole ice breaking session, members are able to get to know each other more and also learn about the objectives of each games as well.

After the ice breaking session, here comes the birthday celebration for January, February, and April babies J

After lunch time, the team started their journey to Semenyih!!!

After 1.5 hour ride, the team reached Three4nine homestay, Semenyih by 2pm. After checking in and settled down, the team started to play the first game, “Guess Who am I?” at the basketball court. This game is basically known as “Picture Charade”, it helps to enhance the members’ creativity, speed, organisational and strategic skill.

After Game 1, the team proceeded to the 2nd game, “The Huntsman”. The objective of this game is to advice the members to be more observant and trust themselves more. Besides that, this game is also a game for the team to find their own rooms for the 2 nights. So, after the room allocation, the team had two hours of resting and shower time.

Dinner started at 7pm at a restaurant nearby.

After dinner time, it was time for Game 3, “Believe it or not?” at 8:30pm. There were four games in this session, which are The Human Chair, Mix and Match, Human Knot and Trust Fall. The Human Chair game was aimed to enhance the members trust, concentrate and respect each other. This game took quite a bit of time as it required all members to sit on each other’s lap in a circle and lay down for 5 seconds. For mix and match game, it’s basically about encouraging the members to learn how to communicate with the team and encourage strategic critical thinking. For the Human Knot, it is basically about teamwork, leadership skill and communication. All members held hands in a big circle with others members and committee then jumbled them up. Then, members are required to entangle the knot until everyone are free and form a big circle again. For the last game, trust fall, is all about trust and teamwork. Every members did a great job in this game. Even though some of them were afraid, they still managed to cope with their fear and trust the others.
The night ended with fun and laughter at 12am. J

The second day began with a morning exercise which are led by some of the members. Due to some members who arrived later than the gathering time, they had to lead the team to have their morning exercise dance and tie up their hair until the end of the day. Hahahaha. Everyone enjoyed themselves in the cute and fun morning exercise.

After a light breakfast, the team building continued with Game 4, “Feel the Society”. This game is basically to let the members feel and understand more on how the disabled people feel. Overall this game trained them to be more understandable, respect and trust. After the meaningful game session, lunch was served.

After lunch time, we proceeded to Game 5, “Let’s get WET”. It’s a water game session!!! All the respective games were fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves in each of the games.

After the fun and tiring water game, they have their rest time, shower time and dinner time. The second dinner of team building was BBQ at home. A joyful dinner time included four pillar heart-to-heart talks as well. Members all bonded well as they get to know about each other better. Chit chat and jokes surrounds the house and everyone got closer to each other just like family members.

After dinner time, the last activity of the day was sharing session. In this session, everyone was required to share with each other about: “Would you rather lose someone/something or forgive just to sustain someone/something? And why?”. With this topic, members shared their highs and lows of their life. It was a heart-to-heart and emotional talk, which makes it the best part of team building, as all members get to know more about each other and bonded everyone better.

On the last day of the teambuilding, there was a souvenir giving session. The souvenir brings out the tagline of SCSC, “Just Different”.  Every members in SCSC are all different, each of them have their own strengths, this is the reason why SCSC need all of us. Without any of us, SCSC isn’t complete. Everyone treat each other like “OHANA”, no one left behind.

In conclusion, this team building was successfully done and achieved the objectives. After this team building, all members got to know more about each other and understand the importance of togetherness. The team building committee members want to thank every members for the cooperation and understanding throughout the 3 days 2 nights team building. J Appreciate.
